About Me

Hello!  I’m Zach Malott and I want to thank you for stopping by to visit my blog!  To start, here’s a little I formation about me:

I am a passionate follower of Jesus Christ and a pastor.  I’m on staff at First Baptist Church in Ruidoso, New Mexico and pastor our Mescalero Baptist Mission on the Mescalero Apache reservation 19 miles away.

My wife, Rhonda, and I feel strongly about our calling and work together ministering to our people there.  We love the area, the people, and our congregation!  Rhonda and I have 5, grown children and two grandchildren – both lovely girls!

I have a BS in religion, just completing a MA in professional counseling and soon to begin  a MA in theological studies – all from Liberty university in Lynchburg, VA.  In the future, I plan to obtain a terminal degree in Counseling Psychology.

I am we published writer, certified life coach, certified Christian and pastoral Cou sell or, and completing my studies at Biola University in Christian apologetics and will intern for certification as an Christian Apologetics Instructor with Nyear in 2013.

I have a passion for the worldview dynamics that present themselves in the 21st Century.  I also believe that there is a burning need for a compilation of information along these lines as well as the pros and cons that each one of them present.  This blog is representative of my passion and I he that you will join me as we delve into this arena together!
